Our Event Planning Expertise

Founded by Maya Wilkinson—a lifelong animal lover and event enthusiast—Fuzzy Fundraising & Events was created with one mission: to bring people together while doing meaningful good. With a background in nonprofit work, event planning, marketing, and psychology, Maya blends creativity, compassion, and organization to design events that uplift communities and support animals in need.

From intimate rescue awareness pop-ups to elegant charity and community-driven events, she brings heart and intention to every detail. With a passion for storytelling, connection, and impact, Maya creates memorable experiences that inspire guests, strengthen local partnerships, and help animals move one step closer to the loving homes and resources they deserve—all while offering exciting PR opportunities for small businesses.

Our Services

Fuzzy Fundraising & Events partners with local rescues and organizations to create cozy, community-centered events that raise funds, awareness, and meaningful connections. 

Fuzzy Pop-Ups (Animals Optional)

Fuzzy Pop-Ups are cozy, community-centered events designed to spotlight a local shelter or rescue. Each event is hosted inside a partnering café, wine bar, boutique, or creative venue, where guests enjoy a themed experience while supporting a great cause.

 

Animals are always welcome but never required. Some rescues bring a few pets for a meet-and-greet, while others prefer an animal-free social focused on awareness and fundraising. Either way, the magic is the same: a warm space, a fun theme, and a community coming together for rescue work.

 

I handle all planning, design, logistics, marketing materials, ticketing, and day-of coordination.

The rescue keeps all donations raised, and I’m paid through a simple flat fee and ticket sales structure.

Fundraising Socials & Mini Charity Nights

These small but mighty events are perfect for rescues who can’t transport animals or prefer a lower-lift option. I create a themed night—such as Wine & Whiskers, Coffee for a Cause, Sip & Support, or seasonal pop-ups—and build a cozy atmosphere where guests can learn, give, and enjoy time together.

 

These events focus on storytelling, mission awareness, and donation support. They work beautifully in cafés, bookstores, markets, wineries, and local shops.

 

You get a complete event from start to finish.

Your rescue keeps 100% of donations raised at the event.

Corporate & Brand Partnerships

For workplaces and brands that want to incorporate purpose into their culture, I design charity-driven events and give-back experiences that benefit a partnering rescue.

 

Depending on the rescue’s capacity, these may include:

• Animal-free charity socials

• Workplace fundraising campaigns

• Sponsored events

• Themed giving nights

• Community partnership activations

• (Optional) therapy-style meet-and-greets if animals are available

 

This is an easy way for companies to support their community without planning from scratch.

The rescue receives donations and exposure, and you receive a polished, meaningful event.

How It Works

Your organization partners with us to host a small, cozy, animal-themed event at a local venue/business.

 

Fuzzy Fundraising & Events ​handles the promotion, décor, coordination, and event flow. Guests attend through ticketed entry. 

​

A portion of ticket sales and 100% of additional donations from the event go directly to the rescue. Simple, thoughtful, and designed to support both animals and the community.

Pricing

Each event is thoughtfully customized based on your vision, size, and overall goals. While I offer general pricing ranges as a guide, I also provide flexible options to best support each organization and event.
